Why do I home school? #4. Ezra.
I "thought" I wouldn't be able to have any more children. That because of life's circumstances I was done bearing children. I grieved, sobbed, ugly cried so many times I lost count. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted a house full of children and I was heartbroken that my hearts' desire would never happen.
But then God brought Daniel into my life!!!
And then God brought Ezra into our family!!!
My God can make a way where there seems to be no way. My God redeems and restores and He is good!
This handsome little fellow brings so much joy to our family. He is thoughtful, fun, and curious which makes him an excellent student already!
Things he has said to me just this week:
"Mommy, I have to read my science and history!" And we sit down and read whatever book he picked off the shelf.
"Mommy, this is the letter g. It goes in the word bug." And we spell it out with our fridge magnets!
"Mommy, I want to color a picture for my notebook." And he colors and puts his picture in his school notebook.
Home school is already a way of life for him. He is watching his older siblings learn and he wants to do what they do! I am so thankful I get to watch him get excited about learning. I look forward to watching his personality continue to emerge and take shape and pray I can continually point him to his creator.
