Why do I home school? #5. Ezekiel.
If I was a betting woman (which I'm not) I would have put $$$ on my last child being a girl (glad I didn't!!)!! When I found out we were having a healthy baby boy, me and Jesus had to have a conversation! It was really short....
Me: A boy? What are you thinking? I'm a girly girl! THREE boys?!?!
God: I need you to raise Godly husbands.
When I see a goal I work backwards to determine all the steps required to accomplish the end result. Over the years I've heard many women complain about their husbands. What he doesn't do to help or what he does that isn't helpful at all. Everything from leaving the seat up, leaving clothes on the floor, not knowing how to wash dishes or finish what he starts. I have my work cut out for me!
My end goal is to have daughters in law who can say, "What a blessing my husband is to me! He is my help mate, my partner in life, and I am blessed to be his wife." I can truly say this about my amazing husband, Daniel, and I pray that I can teach, train and nurture these sweet boys into strong, God-seeking men who desire to love, honor, protect and cherish their wives and families one day. Lord, sustain me for the marathon set before me! Between now and then, I will treasure all the sweetness of this joyful baby boy and enjoy the years that he is mine! They are only tiny for a minute!
